One of new products from netvision -- PC Decoder -- is a pure IP based network Decoding & Matrix platform. By using this platform, user can decode all IP videos, such as video from netvision DVR, stand alone DVR, DVS and IP cameras, by distributed computers and output all videos to VGA monitors as matrix.

PC Decoder Application Structure

Overview

• C/S mode network collaboration;
• Add server end into netvision NVR or M&A Server of NVMP system;
• Client ends --TV Client-- run on independent computers;
• Centralized management in NVR or M&A Server, including user authentication, setting decoding and matrix output for each TV client.

Decoding & Matrix function

• Distributed video decoding architecture, decoding all videos over internet, including SD and HD resolution video;
• Output all videos (both SD and HD resolution) to maximum 24 VGA monitors;
• Distributed or centralized matrix output (VGA TV Wall);
• Up to 16 groups can be set for each monitor, user can set view partition and cameras to be decoded (and output);
• Up to 16 partitions can be set for each VGA monotor.

Application Case:

Following aplication case is integrating PC Decoder with Netvision NVR System

1. Install Server End of PC Decoder in (with) NVR Client; in the next version of NVR, it will include PC Decode function (Server End) by default, user can enable it manually;
2. Install and run TV Client (Client End of PC Decoder) on other independent PC;
3. Log in NVR Client (Server End of PC Decoder) from TV Client;
4. TV Client will decode and output the video image according to the settings in NVR Client.
